Does TempWizard handle all my employees, including 1099 or corporate entities? What about third party employees?
Yes. Non-taxed and W-2 employees are handled through TempWizard. You can set up third party employees, bill them to your customers as your own, but not have them run through your payroll. TempWizard provides reports that allow you to reconcile your information with the invoices provided by your third party partners.
We also do direct hire placements – can you handle that?
TempWizard has the facilities to handle direct hire job orders and invoices. You can store your customers’ benefit packages, directions, interview process, required questions to be asked, and more information. TempWizard can make your least experienced recruiter look like a seasoned professional!
How well integrated are the front and back office functions? Do I need to purchase separate modules?
Unlike many systems, TempWizard is a completely integrated front and back office system. There are no additional modules to purchase. Different views and options allow accounting, recruiting, and sales personnel to access the same data in ways that are designed to be efficient in each of their functions. Updates are instantaneous between views. For example, if a sales person updates a customer address, accounting has that information immediately.
Can I pay my employees, invoice my customers, and run management and analysis reports at different times?
Yes. With TempWizard, these functions can be handled independently of the others. You can pay, invoice, and create management reports at any time. TempWizard's flexibility allows you to set up different pay groups and different invoice groups. All management reports are date range and division (or office) defined for easy selection of the data you need, and can be run for current or historical data.
How difficult is it to outsource my payroll? Will I need to double enter my data?
TempWizard was designed from its inception to work with outsource payroll solutions. Eliminating the need to staff and manage your own payroll department is easy, and requires no additional data entry. All payroll related information is seamlessly supplied to your payroll provider. TempWizard contains all of the burden information necessary to calculate all payroll related costs even before your payroll provider supplies this data.
What are the reporting capabilities?
TempWizard contains over 80 standard reports. Each of these has many options to customize the information presented. BWSI regularly supplies its customers with uniquely designed reports to fit individual needs. In addition, BWSI will make the data dictionary available to its customers who wish to build their own. TempWizard is built on the industry standard platform of Microsoft SQL Server, making it available to a large number of reporting options.
What kind of security is set up to protect sensitive data?
Security rights are assigned to each user of the system for each TempWizard function. Rights can be none, read only, or read/write. You have complete control over which employees have access to the individual functions in TempWizard. If you have multiple locations, you can further limit users’ access based on their location.
We like our current invoice format, can we keep it?
Yes. BWSI will provide a custom invoice layout included in the initial TempWizard purchase. We can design this invoice to match as closely as possible your current form, or you can use your TempWizard installation as an opportunity to redesign your invoice layout. Additional invoice formats, targeting for specific customers, or changes to your original invoice can be arranged at any time.
Where and how will support be provided?
BWSI will provide the support for TempWizard from Phoenix, AZ via toll-free-phone, dial-in, and Internet downloads. Initial training will be done at the customer's site. On site training is included in the cost of the system. Travel expenses are extra, and billed at cost. Ongoing support is provided via telephone and high speed internet connections. All technical support is included for the first year. If you choose the software purchase option, then after the initial year, all support, maintenance, and upgrades are included in one annual fee. If you choose the Subscription or Full Service options, all support, maintenance, and upgrades are included in your monthly fee – there are no additional charges.
Can I access TempWizard as a service, or must I purchase the software?
BusinessWare Services, Inc. (BWSI) provides three basic ways to access TempWizard. You can still purchase TempWizard and install it on your own network. You can utilize our Subscription Service via our state-of-the-art ASP site to connect to TempWizard from anywhere you have Internet access. Or, you can take advantage of our Full Service option, which allows you to outsource your back office functions to us.
