Summary
This article gives you the basics on exporting reports from TempWizardTM.Note: Exporting reports is not a function that was created by BWSI; it is a byproduct of Crystal Reports, the program used to create the reports.
As a result, we cannot support the format or functionality of the reports or the export process. In most cases, when the reports are exported they retain their format and are useable, but in some cases they do not. It depends on the specific report and the complexity of the report.
This article instructs you to the extent at which we can assist you.
To export a report:
With the report on screen, look for the small envelope icon in the upper left portion of the report. (If you do not see this icon, the report does not have export capability.)

When you click the icon, you will gate a small pop up screen as such:

You will have various options available under the Format drop down. We have seen the best luck using Excel 8.0 Extended. We suggest that you try that one to start, but you can try any format available.

Choose the Destination 'Disk file' as such: (It most likely will default to 'Disk file')

Click the OK button to get to the screen below. Click OK again. (This screen will change depending on the Format you have selected.)

Next you will see this screen, where you can give the file a name.

Next, you will need to specify the location to save the file so that you can retrieve it. To do this, click on the drop down button under Save In, and browse to your local computer at "C$ on 'Client' (C:)"

Once you are on your local computer, choose a folder to save the file in and click the Save button, etc.

You will see this flash on screen as it exports. When it goes away, task is complete.

You can browse out to the file and open it in Excel, or whatever program that corresponds with the Format you chose to save the file in.)
Please be aware, not all reports have this capability. If the format is not to your liking, you can try different formats.
As previously stated, however, BWSI did not create this functionality so the extent of the support we can give you on this process is the instruction contained within this document.
There are some reports where we have actually built in the ability to export to a file as such, the Aging Report, for example. The indicator will be an additional option on screen for the Destination.
